The Tyler Place Family Resort in Vermont is one of the top all-inclusive family destinations in the U.S. While the resort is known for its award-winning, state-of-the-art family vacation packages with robust children’s programs, facilities, and activities, it never loses its historic character as a cozy, intimate and friendly Vermont lakeshore cottage community.
A Unique Experience
Experience the freedom of getting around on foot or bike for a whole week. Our recreational facilities – including the waterfront, pools, Field House, gardens, Inn and more – are all just a few minutes’ walk or bike ride from your accommodation. It’ll take you back to bygone days of carefree biking around your neighborhood as a kid; even better, your kids will get to experience that independence firsthand.
It isn’t all nostalgia and old-fashioned camp games, though. The Tyler Place’s guests actively help plan our annual improvements and purchases to keep the resort’s facilities and equipment constantly fresh and updated. New additions nearly every summer mean that there’s always something exciting to check out – whether it’s your family’s first or tenth visit.
Our 165 acres on a mile of private shore remain a country resort retreat, unspoiled and undeveloped for over 85 years with wide-open spaces and gardens for children to play, woods and inlets to explore, and private, lakeside outposts with hammocks and Adirondack chairs for reading, relaxing, or reconnecting. This natural playground and all it offers—abundant greenery, fresh air, cool water—may just provide all the rejuvenation you need.
“We’ve heard the hype and were afraid our expectations were too high. They were not – they impressed and exceeded all expectations! Bravo! This place is magical.”
“We had a wonderful time at Tyler Place. For families with young children it’s not easy to find a vacation destination that feels like a vacation for the whole family, we all had a fun and relaxing week. We are already looking forward to next year.“
