Local Food,
Brews, & Spirits

The Tyler Place is dedicated to local purveyors of fresh products. Executive Chef Jess seeks out the best products and produce from local dairies, vegetable growers, creameries, and smokehouses. Wondering where the peppers in your breakfast quiche originated? Simply ask, and it’s likely you’d be able to visit the farm just 15 or 20 miles down the road! Curious about the origins of the prime rib at our carving station? Our Chefs can give you the local backstory. The Tyler Place is committed to engaging with our local farmers and growers, and using only the best possible products while cooking for our guests and our staff.

Local Brews, Wines & Spirits

Our Bar Manager, Hector, sources a wide variety of alcohols from around the state. While you’ll find your standard staple brews & liquors, you’ll also find beer brewed right next door in our neighboring city of St. Albans, from 14th Star Brewery. While we have plenty of wines from throughout the world in regions like Australia, France, & Italy, we also have wines from our own backyard in Vermont, from Boyden Valley Wines in Cambridge. And don’t miss out on a local favorite: liquor from Smugglers Notch Distillery. Try these spirits on their own, or in a creatively crafted concoction from Hector or one of our fabulous bartenders – you won’t be disappointed!
