While we are not requiring it, we are strongly encouraging all who have access to a vaccine, to get it. The increasing rate of administered doses is very encouraging as we look toward summer. In addition, the very recent news that perhaps just the first dose itself is nearly as effective as getting both, adds to the possibility of more vaccinated people at a quicker rate.

The State now allows all out-of-state residents who have proof of vaccination to visit Vermont without prior quarantine, and they have indicated this as a first step in further loosening of travel restrictions. They also are very aware that children who have not had vaccines available to them will be traveling with their vaccinated parents and are working on paths such as rapid testing upon arrival that would allow cross-state travel without quarantining
