We’re glad you asked! We understand our structure is different than typical all-inclusive resorts you may be used to. We believe we’ve found the ideal balance of couples time & family time to create a true vacation for everyone in the family. It works like this; your child(ren) will be placed in an age-appropriate group of no more than a two-year spread based on their grade in school.
Kids groups run each day in the morning and evening, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., and from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. (or a bit later for our teens). We have ten age-staggered, award-winning children’s programs, with no more than a two year age spread in each. While in group, Tyler Place kids love making new friends, and admiring their fantastic college counselors. Under their guidance and supervision, kids can try dozens of new activities, as well as some tried and true favorites.
Each morning before group, afternoon from 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., and after evening group is family time. Many families participate in one of our organized afternoon family activities like fishing or arts and crafts. Or, you may choose to spend the afternoon on your own at the pools or boat dock!
While the kids are in group, you are free to do as your please- join an activity as strenuous or relaxing as you like, or explore and relax on your own! There are an abundance of ways to enjoy your Tyler Place vacation, and discovering them is part of the fun.
Our all-inclusive buffet dining is one of our guests’ favorite parts of the Tyler Place. There is the option for Family Breakfast on our Sun Porch in the Dining Room, and you are welcome to request a picnic lunch to go to eat as a family if you’re off adventuring for the day. Otherwise, lunches and dinners in our main dining room are adults only- and all included, of course! You can relax knowing that your kids are off eating too, but with their peers and supervised by our fantastic college counselors. Many of our guests cherish this time as a couple, or celebrating with new and old friends.
In the evenings, you may sign up at the Front Desk to get a babysitter for your kids (who will be fast asleep after their busy day) and head down to our bar & lounge for some informal evening entertainment. Ranging from live jazz, to trivia, to an always-fin dance party, there’s something for everyone’s taste.
