Land & Indoor
Sports & Activities
If the weather isn’t cooperating, or the water isn’t your speed, there is an abundance of land and indoor activities for families to enjoy. Whether it’s family Arts & Crafts sessions or biking around the property each member of the family will find something to keep them busy.
Vermont
Family Afternoons
What’s Included in a Vermont Family Afternoon? As many of our favorite Vermont past times as we can pass on to your family! During this favorite outdoor event on our spacious Inn Lawn, you’ll find pony rides by our two friendly ponies, carnival games and live music. Feast on maple snow cones and cotton candy, test your skills at relay races, tug a war and much more!
Family
Arts & Crafts
The opportunity to release your inner artist is one of the most unexpected charms of a Tyler Place family vacation — and one of the most delightful is the chance to create something truly memorable with your kids. Enjoy an Arts & Crafts session during Family Time, and take a memento home to remember your time at the Tyler Place. Your masterpiece could be worthy of displaying in your home or you might just get a little messy together as a family. Hannah, our resident Arts & Crafts guru, comes up with unique and playful projects for all ages and skill levels, so there’s sure to be something you can all create together.
Bikes
for Everyone
Upon arrival, every guest at the Tyler Place receives their very own one-speed bike on which to venture around the resort. We have something for everyone! For our smallest and youngest guests, we have baby seats to attach on the back of parents bikes. For those just learning their balance, we have striders, tricycles, and train wheels galore! Also, we have tag-a-longs so parents and children can bike together. Older kids and parents can choose between a wide range of appropriate bikes. Not so confident biking just yet? Sign up for a private lesson (private lessons are an additional charge) from one of our awesome instructors, and you’ll be set in no time!
“Great “summer camp” experience for the whole family. First time as adults – we got to meet and befriend so many great people in such a short time. Great activities and relaxation time. We can’t wait to come back next year!”
“I loved trying new things – this year, embroidery, hiking, Jay Peak. Was great to reconnect with friends we made last year and make new friends this year!”
