Health & Safety at The Tyler Place

The Tyler Place family and staff has worked hard to develop procedures for a 2020 fall season that will focus on the safety of our guests and staff. We want to make sure that you are as informed as possible about our response to COVID-19. We monitor all guidelines established by the Vermont Department of Health, CDC, VOSHA, ACCD and recommendations provided by the American Hotel and Lodging Association’s “Safe Stay” program to maintain the highest standards of prevention. Precautionary measures have been implemented throughout the resort. Your safety and the safety of our staff is our top priority.

Residents of other states who can drive directly from their home via their personal vehicle and that have a similar active COVID-19 caseload to Vermont may enter the state for leisure travel without quarantining.

The State of Vermont has determined that any county with less than 400 active cases of COVID-19 per one million residents meets this criteria. The Agency publishes an updated map weekly identifying quarantine and non-quarantine counties throughout New England and other nearby states.

If you are from a county with a high-COVID-case ratio, you can still come to Vermont. You may complete either a 14-day quarantine or a 7-day quarantine (7-day needs to be followed by a negative COVID test) in your home state immediately before traveling to Vermont.

  • First thing upon arrival at the Tyler Place you will need to fill out the State of Vermont’s Certificate of Compliance (https://accd.vermont.gov/content/lodging-certificate-of-compliance-updated-2020-07-01) form and send to tyler@tylerplace.com.

The Tyler Place is unable to accommodate guests who wish to quarantine in a Tyler Place accommodation.
